The Youth Development Professional (YDP) collaborates with the Program Director to implement safe, enriching youth programs with a group of school-age youth. As a YDP, you are at the forefront of BGCB’s purpose: to help youth thrive. This role requires enthusiasm, patience, and adaptability. At Boys & Girls Clubs of Bend, you will develop meaningful relationships with Club members and be a positive role model. The ideal candidate will be reliable, trustworthy, and eager to contribute to our fun-loving, mission-driven culture.

 

Job Positions Available

Family Plus Intern:

Stipend available

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday hours: 12pm – 6:30pm

Wednesday hours: 11am – 5:30pm

The Family Plus Intern position is scheduled year-round, with hours available 12pm-6:30pm (M,T,TH, F) and 11am-5:30pm (W) during the after-school program. There is space to alter this schedule, within reason, to accommodate the student’s school schedule, supervision meetings, and individual learning needs.

Seasonal Summer Youth Development Professional:

Join Our Summer Team!

Looking for a fun and meaningful way to spend your summer? We’re hiring Seasonal Summer Youth Development Professionals to join our energetic, passionate team! This full-time, 10-week position runs from June 16–August 22 and includes a paid 40-hour training week starting June 16, plus two additional training days during the summer.

If you love working with kids, thrive in a high-energy environment, and want to make a real impact, this is the role for you! You’ll help lead safe, enriching, and engaging programs for youth in grades 1–8, while building lasting connections and helping young people grow.

This is a 40-hour per week position, Monday through Friday. Shift times are either 7:15am–3:45pm or 9:00am–5:30pm.
Pay starts at $20.50/hour.

After-School (Year Round) Youth Development Professional

$19.50-$20.00/hour, Monday-Friday, 27.5 hours/week 

The After-School Youth Development Professional position is year-round, part-time in the school year, and full-time for the 10-week summer program. YDP’s will receive a 50 cent pay increase 90 days after their start date.
