Why are you involved with Boys & Girls Clubs?

I am involved with the Boys and Girls Clubs because I wanted to work in a field where I get to make a difference in the lives of students in my community. I care about students having supportive adults in their lives that will care about them and invest in them, I truly believe it makes a difference in our lives when adults care about students.

What path did you take to end up here?

I studied Social Science with an emphasis in Leadership and Community Development at OSU Cascades. After graduation I was looking for a job that would allow me to support kids in my community by applying that knowledge base.

What is your favorite part about living in Central Oregon?

The pace of life here in Bend. I came from the valley and one of the best changes in my life since moving has been the change of pace. Having the time and space to pursue hobbies, activities, and mental health has been such an amazing process.
