Justin Varland

Justin currently serves as a business advisor to Apple Inc. through his work with PwC after retiring from tech to relocate to Bend in 2020. A former Apple executive with two decades of sales leadership and business experience in global technology leading companies, Justin more than tripled Apple’s Carrier Enterprise Business to over $8B annually during his tenure. Justin has previously held roles as VP of Sales at Samsung Electronics where he helped build their enterprise sales organization and brand. Research in Motion/BlackBerry where he built the mobility business with Sprint/Nextel, and worked in Public Relations for the Green Bay Packers where he partnered closely with players, coaches and the media.
Justin and his wife Chris reside in Bend with their twin 18 year old children, Andrew and McKenzie and previously co-owned three Kansas City Montessori schools before relocating to the PNW.
In his free time, Justin enjoys all sports and competition, struggles at golf, and gives back to the community in a variety of ways. He’s been active on multiple advisory boards and committees with charitable organizations including the March of Dimes, Big Brothers Big Sisters, the National Humane Society, Make a Wish, American Heart Association and Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity. He holds a bachelors degree from Black Hills State University.
