Why are you involved with Boys & Girls Clubs?

 I started as a volunteer and when I heard that a part-time position was open, I applied.

What path did you take to end up here?

I’ve been retired for almost 3 years. I am also a member of the Compass Church of Bend, located in the same building as BGCB. My grandchildren, who I see 2-3 times a year live in San Diego. Helping at the club was my way of providing community service and being around kids at the same time.

W​hat ​is your favorite part about living in Central Oregon?

Great retirement location, family, friends, indoor tennis, outdoor sports.
