Why are you involved with Boys & Girls Clubs?

As a staff member for over a decade, I believe wholeheartedly in the Boys & Girls Club’s mission. To see our members succeed in various ways each day fills my heart and soul.

What path did you take to end up here?

I started out as a volunteer through OSU Cascades in 2011 while I was pursuing my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. I was immediately inspired by the organization and haven’t left since.

What is your favorite part about living in Central Oregon?

Central Oregon (Bend) is where I was born and raised. To me, it is home. I plan to raise children and even retire here as I grow old. <3

Alice began in nonprofits as a volunteer, and directly witnessed what a difference we each can make in other’s lives. This experience ignited a desire in her to be more involved in her communities and give back through her career path. She believes in the power of community, and she has a strong conviction and desire to help the children in Central Oregon reach their full potential. She is thrilled to collaborate with our community to build great futures for all youth in Bend, especially those who need our support the most.

In her free time, she enjoys karaoke and exploring the outdoors with her husband, children, and two dogs. She welcomes new adventures that come her way.
