Occupation: Brand Manager

Emilie is a true Oregonian; she grew up in southwest Portland, attended college at the University of Oregon (earning a degree in journalism and environmental studies), and settled in Bend in 2012. She has worked as a graphic designer since moving to Central Oregon during the recession and discovering a passion for helping small businesses with their visual presence. She now works as a designer full time but her main job is being mom to two little boys and a fur boy.

Why I am involved with Boys & Girls Clubs of Bend:

Ever since becoming a parent, she has recognized a lack of support for families in our community. In 2020, she and a small group of moms started a non-profit called Raising Littles Bend, which provides opportunities for connection and community for moms and their children. Wanting to do more, she joined BGCB’s board to help further its mission of providing opportunities for youth in our community to thrive, as well as support for their families.
